Alejandro Figuearo

Alejandro Figueroa (b. 1978, Guanajuato) has a long history as a photographer, working primarily in the corporate sector as a publicity photographer after receiving his degree in marketing and advertising from UNUM. Figueroa studied narrative photography and illustration in Argentina before returning to Mexico City where he studied curation and contemporary documentary photography. His extensive training and experience has resulted in the elaboration of various photographic series, such as Los Xinacates (2023), that record live moments in crisp, evocative, sometimes surreal photos which the artist occasionally intervenes on with the use of digital tools.
